Valiant Echoes is proud to not only provide the first ever aerobatic performance by the Vultee BT-13, but also the first aerial reenactment from World War II.

During the build up to the United States entry into the war the Army Air Force had to expand from a force of 50,000 men and women to over a million.  Of course a major objective was to train the thousands of pilots that were needed to fly the combat aircraft so necessary to winning the war.  Thousands of gallant military pilots gave their all training the pilots of America’s combat forces during these hectic and heroic times.

Ř    Basic Training  recreates one of those aerobatic training missions and provides the audience the opportunity to listen to the  live cockpit broadcast of the instructor’s comments on the PA system.   Share the thrill and excitement of a cadets first aerobatic flight and the instructors tips as he saves them both from the cadets mistakes.  A truly unique and historic airshow presentation.

For no additional cost, Valiant Echoes offers:

Ř    Historic Echoes , an elegant and graceful aerobatic display performed with smoke and a 1940’s musical background.   This act brings back memories of a time past where an uncertain future combined with a national resolve to keep our nation free.  Imagine a cadet in 1943 tuning in his aircraft ADF radio to the local radio station to listen to all the current big band hits while practicing his aerobatic flying.  Add aircraft smoke to trace his maneuvers and you have an awe inspiring heritage flight.   A sight not seen since 1945 and the wars end.
